· APPEARANCE
Ember resembles your average looking ten year old. She is very doll like when it comes to her appearance as she wears very Lolita/Victorian children’s clothing. She is often seen wearing clothing that is gray with black accents.
If she is wandering in the woods, Ember will wear a dark gray cloak to go on her shoulders (Little Red Riding Hood like).

· PERSONALITY
Ember is viewed to be a very sheltered child as she finds there is good within everyone that she meets without circumstances. She is very polite and has excellent manners. Ember has a bit of a temper when she becomes frustrated or upset over certain things, very much like her mother. But that is quickly covered up by an apology shortly afterwards.
When Ember meets new people, she is generally very shy however, for her social skills aren’t exactly up to par for a ten year old. But once after a brief introduction, she is very social and is quite a bit of a chatterbox.
· HISTORY
Unlike most little girls, Ember was brought into the world not by a natural birth, but rather than being born from both the smoke and the ash of the fire. Her mother spent countless hours perfecting this spell in order to create the perfect little girl. Finally after perfect her magic, Ember was born into the 10-year-old child that she knew and loved today. However, there was a catch to this miracle of a spell. As Ember would age, her appearance would remain constant. It seemed that whatever spell her mother had used her appearance seemed to remain the same. Although she is aging, Ember appears to be the same and will possibly appear this way till the end of her days.
However, rather than being able to run around and play games like other children, Ember was put straight to work. Ember was quickly taught how to prepare meals, read, and writ, as well as basic magic in order to help prepare her mother for some of her more powerful spells. One of Ember’s greatest tasks though is going to the market to pick up various ingredients. This caused the child to begin to fall into some depression, she was terribly lonely and required a friend.
One day, Ember had decided to attempt to wonder off in order to play in the woods as she heard noises which resembled the sound of children. However, because of this Ember had ran into some ogres. Within moments of the encounter, Ember faced a dangerous situation, as the ogres seemed to think that she was tasty treat. After being batted around a few times, a raven came to her rescue and attacked the creatures and saved her life.
Once Iris had found about this, she was outraged. After providing a rather long lecture, she had realized why she had done this. At that moment, Iris had decided that it was time for Iris to learn her skills as a Smoke Weaver and taught her defensive attacks. As she did this, the same raven that had saved her daughter’s life had been watching them. Finally, she decided that it was time to tend to Ember’s pain. The raven was now officially a member of the family and was shortly named Shadow. Instantly the two became the best of friends. However, despite her mother’s efforts, the young girl continued to suffer from loneliness.
· ABILITIES
Smoke Cover: Ember can provide a blanket of smoke to cover certain objects from the human eye. This is often the defensive measure that is done to the cottage within the woods.
Smoke Form: Ember can take on the form of smoke when she is required too. If she concentrates long enough she can become like the fog on the ground but in a smoky formation. If Ember decides to still remain as smoke, she can also become a figure. This figure however will show the girl’s true age as it appears to be an older female. In order for an individual to see Ember’s true age, they most view this state.
