A Strange Disease

A shape shifter is a strange breed of human DNA, however with every great improvement, there is a terrible cost for everything. Compared to the average Human, the life span of a shape shifter is around to be between the ages of 45-60.

Since due to the accelerated rate of cells requiring splitting to complete a shift into another individual, cells can easily become damaged and are able multiply just as quickly. This causes the shape shifter to obtain a rather vicious form of cancer.  Depending on how often the specimen decides to shifts the faster they will be infected. It has been found that they are often hit with this anywhere between the ages of 40-55.

The symptoms of this life-threatening disease go as follow:

  • Fever
  • Pain
  • Changes to Skin
  • Weakness
  • Weight Loss
  • Lack of Appetite and Sleep

Luckily for the patient, treatments have been developed in order to help provide an extension to the individual’s life. However, there is still only a 50% chance that it will not be helpful. This treatment consists of a daily dosage of medicine provided by the hospital as well as some chemo. Due to the complexity of the dosages and how they are produced, fees for this process often run around $1500 a month. Unfortunately, a cure has not been developed thus far. Under Construction
